Dress Code


All participants in all programs offered by Epiphany of Dance require proper dancewear and dance shoes

Students are expected to follow our dress code and have all appropriate dance wear no later than the fourth week after staring date of the year. You will be able to purchase your dance wear at Epiphany. Students who come to a class without proper uniform will be asked to observe instead of participating.

An extra body wear may be worn at a teacher’s discretion during winter months during warm-up. The types (of garments) permitted will be at the discretion of class teachers.

 

Summer Camp:

Campers should wear comfortable clothing that will allow them to move freely.  Socks, ballet slippers or Jazz shoes are recommended.

Ballet:

Age 3-6: Epiphany Pink Bodysuit (Mondor 01635)and Pink Tights, Wrap Skirt, Pink Ballet Slippers Full Sole.

Age 7-10: Epiphany Light Blue Tank Bodysuit (Mondor 01645 Academy Blue/94)and Pink Footed Tights, Full Sole Leather Ballet Slipper, Canvas Character low heel .

Age 11-13: Epiphany Rose/Lilac (Mondor 01645 Mulbery or Lilac)Tank Bodysuit and Pink Convertible Tights. Full Sole Leather Ballet Slipper), Canvas Character higher Cuban heel.

Age 14 to 18: Epiphany Sleeveless Bodysuit (Black or purple Mondor 03505)); Black/purple wrap Skirt optional, Pink Convertible Tights, Pink Canvas Ballet Slippers , Pink Pointe shoes (brand of choice) with Ribbons.

Male dancers: Plain White Fitted T-shirt, Black Dance Pants or Shorts, Black Leather or Canvas Ballet Slippers.

Jazz:

Bodysuit – sleeve length and color of either pink, blue or black (for recreational)

Tights – Beige

Shoes – Beige Bloch Jazz Shoes (Lace-Up 405 OR Slip-On 499)

Options: Jazz Pants (must be fitted at knee and hemmed to see foot; zippers not permitted), Dance Shorts or Capri Pants (must be cotton/lycra blend and fitted).

Tap:

Same as Jazz uniform with the exception of shoes: Beige Capezio Maryjane style;

Comp temporary & Acro:

Bodysuit – style and color of choice (for recreational);

Tights – Beige Footless (Mondor 312).

Options: Dance Shorts OR Tight Leggings (Shoes not required – bare feet).

Hip-Hop & BreakDance:

Comfortable clothing that dancers can move in (No jeans permitted).

CLEAN indoor non-marking soled running shoes.

Recital

Recital costume measuring will be in November and ordered at the end of the holiday season. Any students requiring a special order or size may be subject to additional charges. Costumes must be purchased in order to participate in the year-end recital. Costumes do not include required tights or shoes.
